Testimonials

I contacted Danielle for postpartum services. She was so great to have when my husband went back to work. She held the baby so I could shower, played with my toddler when I needed to nurse, helped with laundry and dinner. She was a godsend. I looked forward to her visits, not just because she helped with housework, but she was genuinely lovely to have around. I think another part that was just as important was the ability to talk about the birth and process it. I'd highly recommend her to anyone who is having a baby.

Danielle was a true blessing during my labor and delivery. She stayed so calm and helped coach me (and my husband) through my labor. My husband, who was reluctant to get a doula, said "I'm so glad we had the doula there" after delivery. She is a true professional who is kind and compassionate before, during and after delivery. I highly recommend Danielle to anyone searching for a doula!

Edit to add: communication with Danielle was easy at all points throughout my pregnancy (this is SO important when working with a doula!)

I'm so very glad Danielle was my doula! She's one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and we hit it off from the get-go. She always answered my questions, not matter what time of day, and provided a sense of calm for me when I needed it.

She was so great during labor and delivery. Very encouraging and knew exactly what to do to help ease some of that labor pain. My husband was also thankful she was there to provide another hand for me to hold or suggest to him what might help relax me.

Definitely recommend Danielle!

When I became pregnant for the first time I only knew one thing: I wanted to educate myself to be as prepared as possible! The more research I did, the stronger I felt about having a natural birth. Since my husband and I didn't have any family in town and were experiencing all of this for the first time, I felt like maybe we should look into a doula for the extra support. We found Danielle and met with her to see if it would be a good fit. I instantly knew she would be perfect for me! She has such a sweet, calming voice and positive attitude that I knew she would be the right balance for my stressed-out personality!

We met with Danielle before the "big day" to discuss our likes, dislikes, and create a birth plan. She was very flexible when I changed my mind about things and had a million and one questions about what things meant or how different techniques worked. She was always calm and explained everything beautifully.

When my water broke and I went into labor, Danielle met us at the hospital right away. She walked laps and stairs with me through the hospital while my husband got some much-needed rest. When the on-call doctor wanted to give me Pitocin, she came up with a great natural alternative and bought us a couple more hours before re-assessing the situation. It made ALL the difference! I firmly believe the day continued to flow smoothly because of Danielle's voice of reason! When my contractions became very strong and I experienced a lot of back labor, Danielle was able to help my husband apply counter pressure or take turns with him so that neither one of them was totally exhausted. She also encouraged me to change positions periodically. She was absolutely wonderful!

With Danielle's constant love, encouragement, and experience, we were able to have a successful natural birth and beautiful 7lb 9oz baby boy! Seeing the excitement and relief in Danielle's eyes at the end of the day truly made her part of the family!
